Exciting boat transport

Boat transport is a common transport system used to move things and people across water bodies. It involves the use of vessels specifically designed to travel over water. These vessels are called boats.
It has several advantages. First of all it is cheap. People do not have to pay so much money to travel or carry their goods using the boats. The other advantage is high carrying capacity. Boats are designed to carry many goods and people at once. They have enough space to carry bulky good such as ores, vehicles and other huge machines without having to divide or dismantle them into smaller consignments. This makes them the ideal way to transport bulky commodities.
It does not require any additional infrastructure such as roads or airports so as to operate. The boats simply travel over water which is provided by nature and does not need special care and maintenance. This makes it easy to begin using this form of transport since all what you need to do is acquire a vessel and you are good to go.
Finally since many continents are separated by oceans it plays a very big part in international trade. This is because majority of goods are carried using this type of transport since it is the best way to move bulky goods. This also helps to bring many countries together economically and socially.
However there are several drawbacks experienced when using boat transport. First of boats are slow in speed and take a long time to reach their destination. It is also not very secure. This is due to the security threat posed by pirates. So it is risky to use boats to carry very valuable commodities. You also need a large water body to use the boats and this limits the number of areas where they can be used. Finally it is greatly affected by weather factors such as storms and strong winds.
